India's industrial output up 7.5 percent in January

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's industrial output grew 7.5 percent in January from a year earlier, government data showed on Monday.

Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast 6.7 percent growth in output compared with a 7.1 percent year-on-year increase in December.
