Reuters Market Eye - The Sensex edges lower as blue chips fall on profit-taking after both the benchmark index and the Nifty gained nearly 10 percent over the previous four sessions.
The Nifty and the Sensex are down around 0.7 percent each.
Top Sensex losers - Tata Motors falls 2.8 percent, HUL loses 2.2 pct, Cipla down 2.1 percent.
However, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have bought 50.5 billion rupees worth of cash shares in the previous four sessions.
