NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's wholesale prices fell for a 13th straight month in November, declining an annual 1.99 percent, mainly on tumbling oil prices, government data showed on Monday.

The fall was slower than a 2.80 percent annual decline forecast by economists in a Reuters poll. In October, the index fell a provisional 3.81 percent.

The wholesale fuel prices dropped 11.09 percent from a year ago in November, while prices of manufactured goods declined 1.42 percent year on year.

Food prices in November, however, gained 5.20 percent year-on-year, compared with a provisional 2.44 percent gain in October.
