Ai Amnesty Flights To Dubai From Today

In addition to special flights, AI also plans to increase seating capacity. This will be over and above the regular seating capacity in the flights. According to Jitendra Bhargava, spokesperson of AI , the carrier has no plans to make a fast buck by increasing its ticket price. The first flight, Mumbai-Trivandrum-Dubai-Mu- bai is expected to bring back the first migrants tomorrow at around 0155 hours. These flights are expected to continue till September 30. It is estimated that over 30,000 illegal immigrants have procured outpasses and AI expects to fly them in large numbers. Bhargava indicated that the frequency of these special flights may increase with demand.

 

Meanwhile, AI is launching a two-month lucky draw scheme, effective October 1. Branded as Win the world, the weekly scheme will have three prizes of two free tickets each including three days hotel accommodation. The draw will be held weekly by rotation in Mumbai, Delhi, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Calcutta and Hyderabad. A bumper draw will be held after each month of the scheme either in Mumbai or Delhi.

Air India has offered a Cielo car as prize for the bumper draw. Win the World scheme will be open from September 23.
