Ambi Draws Up 22-Point Code Of Conduct

The draft of the code, a copy of which is available with Business Standard, is prepared jointly by Ambi's working group comprising Udayan Bose of Lazard CreditCapital, who is the convenor; Shitin Desai of DSP Financial, Kishore Chaukar of ICICI Securities, R Sankaran of Ind Global and M/s C C Chokshi & Co.

The Ambi board has already discussed it at a recent meeting and the draft code is being circulated among the members for suggestions and views.

The 22-point code seeks to include adequate regulatory compliance from members.

Ambi expects its members to adhere to the code of conduct, regulations, guidelines, clarifications, rules, circulars and press releases issued by Sebi from time to time.

 

Members are advised to take special care to ensure that all reporting to any branch or agency of the government is done with the utmost accuracy and promptness.
