KPC Bidadi Power Corporation Ltd, has entered into a fuel supply agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) to supply 0.5 million tonnes of naphtha from the latters installation at Cochin.
KPC Bidadi, a joint venture between Karnataka Power Corporation and Unocal is setting up a combined cycle power project at Bidadi, 30 kms from Bangalore.
During the the first phase, the plant is expected to generate 200 mw power. The project, at a cost of Rs 750 crore, is expected to produce by March 2001.
