GSPL Q2 profit up marginally

State-run gas distribution player, Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) has posted a net profit of Rs 132.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 129.30 crore for the same period last year. This shows a marginal growth of 2.71 per cent on year-on-year basis.

Company's total income for the period has increased from Rs 295 crore in second quarter last year to Rs 295.7 crore for second quarter of 2012-13, the company statement filed with BSE on Wednesday stated.
