N-E Hydel Projects

A task force has been constituted to execute hydel power projects to generate 5000 mw in the North East, following the directive of Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda. Power Grid Corp chairman & managing director R P Singh told a press conference here the region had tremendous hydel power potential and the proposed projects were likely to be executed in 8-10 years.
