You are too quick to applaud CIIs code for good corporate governance and commend its plea to allow Indian financial institutions to support players in takeover battles. What if two different institutions are poised on either side of the battle? Will that invite the mediation of the big brother of North Block.? Can we have an entirely open arena for the mightier of the parties to succeed?
