Sayers left her 13th Lord Peter Wimsey novel unfinished in 1938. Jill Paton Walsh has done the honours, and come up with a novel that Sayers would have loved. The plot features two beautiful corpses, the theatre and Edward VIIs abdication. And readers will love the effect that marriage has had on Wimsey.
