Token Strike Likely To Affect Dse Working

According to DSE Karamchari Union sources, all the employees of the exchange, including those in the computer room, which is the hub of all activity, would strike work.

The union alleged that the salaries of the management and senior officials have witnessed a rapid surge whereas the rest of the employees have been working on the same pay scale for the past five years.

The executive director's salary has more than doubled during the previous year, while that of the senior general manager has grown three-fold. All this revision has been done in a year's time, but we are still working on the same levels,'' the sources said.

 

Meanwhile, in a bid to resolve the standoff between the management and employees of the exchange, the finance ministry has directed DSE president Arjun Kapur to furnish full details of the pay, allowance, perquisites of the executive director and rest of the employees of the exchange.
