Traded Volume At Rs 529.11 Crore

The Wholesale Debt Market at the National Stock Exchange clocked trading volume of Rs 529.11 crore of which the treasury bills segment accounted for trade worth Rs 55 crore.The corporate debenture segment, which reported 448 trades yesterday, showed trading volume of Rs 94.11 crore.

The zero coupon discount bonds issued by Reliance Capital -category A maturing in 2002 were traded for Rs 90 crore at the weighted yield of 14.94 per cent. There were two trades for the paper at Rs 49.40. A bulk deal of zero per cent Reliance Capital -category B was traded for Rs 100 crore at the weighted yield of Rs 14.95 per cent.

 

The 6.50 per cent government maturing in 2002 was traded for Rs 45 crore at weighted yield Rs 10.42 per cent. The 11 per cent government loan maturing in 2002 was traded for 39 crore at the weighted yield of 10.28 per cent, at the low of Rs 102.50 and high of Rs 102.64 per cent.

The 11.50 per cent government loan maturing in 2008 was traded for Rs 25 crore at the weighted yield of 10.90 per cent. In the Tbills segment, the 364 days bills maturing in April 24, 1998 was traded for Rs 20 crore at the weighted yield of 7.5 per cent.
