Vysya Bank Gets Nod To Hike Authorised Capital

Cellular Operators Association of India chairman KV Seshasayee has said that the decision of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to stay away from the World Telecom Convention at Geneva will send wrong signals to overseas investors who would have been looking forward to meet the telecom regulator of the country.

TRAI has refused to attend the Geneva convention after the ministry of communications asked it to send a single representative to the world's largest gathering of telecom industry players and regulators.

The convention gets under way from October 10. The Indian delegation will be headed by secretary in the Prime Minister's Office NK Singh and a 20
