Bhargava quits Progeon, Chaudhry to be new CEO

Amitabh Chaudhry, currently chief operating officer (COO), will take over as managing director and CEO of Progeon, the BPO division of Infosys Technologies, w.e.f March 2.

Chaudhry will take over from Akshaya Bhargava, MD and CEO of Progeon, who will demit office on March 1.

"Bhargava has expressed a desire to leave Progeon for personal reasons, and will demit office from March 1," according to a release issued by Infosys today.

"Bhargava has been associated with Progeon from its early days, and has been one of the main factors for Progeon's current success," the release added.
