Bharti Telesoft, the provider of integrated value added services solutions for mobile operators in emerging markets, has entered into an alliance with MTN Group. MTN provides mobile services across Africa and the middle East.
The Indian company will provide Multimedia Messaging Center (MMSC), Short Message Service Center (SMSC) and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Gateway solutions for all 21 MTN Operations.
As a part of the deal, Bharti Telesoft will be providing SMSC, including its SMS Router and mGateway solutions, as well as MMSC and WAP Gateway solutions – solutions that Bharti Telesoft gained via its acquisition of Jataayu Software.
