HP's mobile software

HP on Monday announced the HP OpenCall Media Platform (OCMP) Video for Indian mobile operators. OCMP Video enables the rapid development of interactive multimedia services to drive penetration of video services and allows operators to optimise technology asset usage by sharing resources among different applications.

"HP is in a position to help our telecom customers in India evolve towards IP-based technologies and the associated multimedia service opportunities," said Amit Chatterjee, Country Sales Manager, HP Software.

According to HP, this OpenCall Media Platform Video product facilitates the creation and deployment of multimedia services.
