Idea Cellular FY07 net zooms 137% to Rs 503cr

Idea Cellular has posted a 137% jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 503.26 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 (FY07) when compared with Rs 211.77 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006 (FY06).

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, consolidated total revenue has increased to Rs 4412.93 crore for FY07 from Rs 2989.88 crore for FY06.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2007 (Q4FY07), the company has posted a net profit of Rs 193.42 crore when compared with Rs 116.80 crore for Q4FY06. Total revenue has increased to Rs 1341.06 crore from Rs 865.87 crore for Q4FY06, the release added.
