Infy signs pact with Wavecom

Wavecom,a player in embedded wireless communications solutions for automotive, industrial and mobile professional applications, and Infosys, on Wednesday, said that they have signed a partnership agreement to address the growing machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless connectivity market.

As part of this agreement, Infosys Technologies will become Wavecom Certified Competence Centre, offering design, development and integration services based on Wavecom's wireless software platform.

The partnership will enable Wavecom to provide wireless solutions to global customers utilizing Infosys' expertise in product engineering and IT.

The partnership will also provide clients of both companies with cost-competitive designs, rapid time-to-market and industrial reliability.

Infosys' Product Engineering services include product conceptualization, design and development in hardware, embedded software and product lifecycle management.
