Reliance Infocomm today claimed that it has earned Rs 1 crore within two days of making the R World service paid, and is expecting a monthly revenue of Rs 25 crore from the service.

"R World is set to generate an estimated monthly revenue of Rs 25 crore," the company said in a release, adding the popularity of R World remained high after it was made paid with effect from April 1.

Much of the Rs 1 crore revenue was contributed by the first India-Pakistan one-day match at Kochi, the statement said.

The applications have been classified into four categories - membership, pay-on-entry, pay-on-use and free.

The membership category has a monthly charge of Rs 25. Pay-on-entry includes railway booking, web mail and mobile banking, and costs Rs 2-4 per log-in irrespective of duration.

Pay-on-use, which offers ringtones, greetings, exam results and cricket scores, are charged between Rs 2-10, the statement added.
