Zensar Technologies, a business process company announced that its infrastructure management services arm is seeing a surge with the creation of a compelling dual shore services line in collaboration with Akibia--support and IT services provider to data centers of network and security infrastructure organisations.

Akibia's USA and Europe services in data center and information security services were merged with Zensar's remote infrastructure management service line after the acquisition of Akibia by Zensar at the end of 2010.

"Since the launch of our end to end service line in April this year post the successful 100 day integration plan with Akibia, we have secured over 4 million US dollars of business from existing Zensar clients and have a pipeline of over 10 million USD for 2011. This has been an extraordinarily successful marriage of complementary services between the two companies and our customers are delighted," said Vivek Gupta, chief executive officer, Zensar's banking, insurance and infrastructure management business and vice-chairman, Akibia.

Zensar and Akibia together as an infrastructure management player support the entire spectrum of services.

In the past six months, the company has augmented its global footprint with customers in diverse fields as navigation systems, software manufacturing, hospitality, video gaming, publishing and prescription generic drugs in addition to the core company verticals of banking, insurance, utilities, and retail.

Zensar Akibia said it has also been selected as a preferred infrastructure management partner for one of the leading manufacturing companies in the USA.

The two companies continue to maintain a healthy pipeline across territories and verticals for their independent services while exploring synergies with the new services.

Aditi Bhargava, strategy and merger and acquisition integration leader of Zensar said, "The success of the initial 100 day plan has led us to introduce a new 180 day market development plan, comprising of cross-selling the full integrated infrastructure management portfolio in to the Akibia and Zensar client base. We are confident that this will be the key driver of new business in an increasingly difficult services market and we are confident that infrastructure management will contribute over 130 US million dollars to Zensar's revenues in the current financial year."
