Good news for India! Pant back in form with 54-ball ton ahead of ENG tour

Rishabh Pant scores his 2nd IPL hundred in the IPL 2025 clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the final league game of the season at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday. Pant had the RCB bowlers gasping for air in the middle, hitting the ball out of the park all across the ground.

 

Pant reached his hundred within 54 deliveries which started off slowly and picked up fierce pace as the partnership with Marsh started to build up on the night.  He followed his hundrd with a summersault celebration as well that had the crowd cheering him on in Lucknow.

Lucknow Super Giants set a challenging target of 228 runs for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL 2025 match at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow, tonight. This crucial total puts pressure on RCB as they aim to secure a top-two finish in the league. After debutant Matthew Breetzke was dismissed early in the powerplay by fellow debutant Nuwan Thushara in the third over, it was captain Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh who took charge.  The pair built a powerful partnership, dominating the bowlers with aggressive sixes all around the ground. The RCB bowlers struggled to contain them until Marsh was finally dismissed for 67 by Bhuvneshwar in the 16th over.
