The Srikakulam Lok Sabha Constituency in the state of Andhra Pradesh is currently held by Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu of the Telugu Desam (TDP). In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Naidu beat Duvvada Srinivas of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) by receiving 46.19% of the votes cast in this constituency.
Srikakulam is one of the constituencies in 25-seat Andhra Pradesh. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Srikakulam went to the polls on April 11, 2019, in Phase 1. It saw 74.07% of its registered electors turning out to vote, against 74.36% in the previous national elections held in 2014. Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu defeated his nearest rival, Duvvada Srinivas, by a margin of 6653 votes. While Naidu received 46.19 votes, runner-up Duvvada Srinivas polled 45.61 votes.
At the time of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Srikakulam had 1,723,037 registered electors – 875,187 of them male and 847,850 female. The constituency had seen a 67.53% voter turnout. In 2014, the male voter turnout here was 66.87%, while 68.21% female voters turned out for voting. A total of 22 candidates had contested in this constituency. The participation of women candidates was 3.
