The Sangli Lok Sabha Constituency of MAHARASHTRA state is currently held by Sanjaykaka Patil of BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Sanjaykaka Patil beat Patil Pratik Prakashbapu of CONGRESS by receiving 58.40 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.

Sangli is one of the constituencies in 48-seat Maharashtra. The constituency had seen a 63.47% voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Sangli the male voter turnout was 64.85% and 61.96% female voters turned out for voting. The participation of women candidates in this seat was 4.
