Government of India cancels licenses of 18 pharma companies for manufacturing of spurious medicines following an inspection by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) on 76 companies across 20 States, said Official sources. The huge crackdown underway on pharma companies across the country related to manufacturing of spurious medicines. Action on 70 companies in Himachal Pradesh and 45 in Uttarakhand and 23 in Madhya Pradesh during govt crackdown on companies manufacturing spurious medicine.

The Aam Aadmi Party will be displaying posters against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 11 languages across the country on March 30, party's state convener Gopal Rai said on Tuesday.
"The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will display posters in states across the country on March 30. All state units of the party have been asked to paste posters in their respective states. The posters have been printed in 11 languages," Rai, the Delhi AAP chief and environment minister, told PTI.

Zydus Lifesciences on Tuesday said it has received approval from the US health regulator to market a generic product which is used to treat myxedema coma.
