AP Chief Electoral Officer inaugurates training camp on counting in Amaravati

Amaravati (AP), May 08 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Gopalkrishna Dwivedi has inaugurated the training programme for returning officers and staff on election counting. At first, 10 persons per district will be trained. The trained personnel will go to their respective districts and train local personnel on 17th May. It is estimated that a maximum of 150 counting staff will be required for an Assembly constituency. 20 per cent additional manpower will be placed. Counting will be held on 23rd May. Three tier security arrangements will be made for counting.
