Injured Unnao rape victim put on life support: Lucknow ADG

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 29 (ANI): The Unnao rape victim, who today got seriously injured in an accident while en route Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh, has been put on life support system, informed Lucknow Zone's Additional Director General (ADG) Rajiv Krishnan. "Doctors have told me that they (victim and her lawyer) have been put on life support system. Some of their bones have fractured. One of them has head injury," Krishnan told reporters outside King George's Medical University (KGMU) Trauma Centre in Lucknow where the victim is being treated. The victim last year had accused BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of raping her in April 2017. Sengar was later arrested by CBI which is investigating the case.
