Locals celebrate 'Bhogi' in Chennai

Chennai, Jan 14 (ANI): Locals in Chennai are celebrating 'Bhogi' festival in Chennai with great fervour on January 14. 'Bhogi' marks beginning of the four-day 'Pongal' festival. People setup bonfire to celebrate the festival and burnt several unused items. Later, a layer of thick smog engulfed the city. Virugambakkam and Vadapalani areas were covered in the smog.
