Lockdown 3.0: Standalone outlets reopen in Chennai

Chennai, May 11 (ANI): Tamil Nadu government on May 10 released a list of standalone shops that have been permitted to open even as coronavirus lockdown continues. Tea shops, groceries, hardware shops, roadside carts are among those that have been permitted to open. At the same time, government has said no barber shops or salons will be allowed to work. Disinfection of shops, social distancing and wearing of masks will be mandatory for customers and shop staff. MHA had issued an order to extend nationwide lockdown by two more weeks from May 4 with certain relaxations.
