Train service between India, Pakistan resumed

Lahore, Feb 26 (ANI): The Samjhota Express service, which was suspended due to security concerns following protests in Haryana, resumed its operation. India had suspended the services of Samjhota Express, which runs between Pakistan and India twice a week, on February 22, following widespread protests by the Jat community.

Taking about the delay, one of the passengers Sughran Bibi said she had brought her mother-in-law to meet her relatives in Karachi, adding the disturbance in the train service had made them very uncomfortable as they were unprepared for the cold. While another passenger Hamza said their tickets were confirmed, but at midnight they got news that the train service had been suspended due to which he spent five days in travelling.
