At least one person died and five people have been injured in a train accident here in Catalonia on Tuesday morning.Sputnik reported that the last two carriages of a commuter train travelling from Sant Vicenç de Calders to Barcelona got derailed near Vacarisses, a small village in the province of Barcelona.Other trains travelling between Terrassa and Manresa have been temporarily stopped.Rescue teams, fire brigades, and medics have already started working at the scene.The General Directorate of Civil Protection took to Twitter, saying, "One person has died, six more have been injured".The accident occurred at 6.15 a.m. in the morning owing to a landslide. A Karachi-bound Cessna aircraft was allowed to make priority landing at Jaipur airport on Tuesday after its pilot got "Indication of Open Door". The private aircraft had only cockpit crew in it and was on a scheduled flight from Lucknow to Karachi.Airport officials said that the pilot of the Karachi-bound SR-20 aircraft that took off from Lucknow for Karachi on Tuesday morning alerted Jaipur Airport Air Traffic Control (ATC) that his aircraft's 'door open' indication was showing and requested for permission for priority landing to check the aircraft doors for safety.Following the ATC clearance, the plane landed safely. Airport officials, as per Standard Operating Procedure, also informed State Intelligence Bureau and aviation securities agency about the incident. After inspection by the airport team and security agencies, the aircraft was given permission to depart for Karachi.
Six persons died in a blast at the Wardha ammunition depot of the army here in Maharashtra on Tuesday, officials said.
At least six people were killed and 10 others injured when an explosion took place near an ordnance depot in Maharashtra's Wardha district on Tuesday while ammunition was being unloaded, officials said. The blast took place between 7.10 am and 7.15 am at the explosive demolition ground near the Central Ammunition Depot (CAD) at Pulgaon town, a Defence official said. Around 10 to 15 contract labourers were at the site when the explosion occurred, Wardha's Additional Superintendent of Police Nikhil Pingle said. "The blast took place in one of the ammunition boxes while unloading the ammunition. The incident took place in an open land," he said. The death toll in Pulgaon Army depot explosion in Wardha has reached 4, officials said on Tuesday. The deceased include an ammunition factory employee and three labourers.The blast occurred at 7 am today morning at the Army depot while unloading ammunition of 23mm at the demolition ground at the CAD, Pulgaon.The demolition ground was given to Ordnance Factory, Khamaria for their demolition activities. The blast occurred during the disposal process.Speaking to media, BB Pande, Defence PRO said, "While carrying out the demolition of old explosives by the staff of Ordnance Factory Khamaria, Jabalpur at the demolition land in Pulgaon there was an accident. A two-year-old girl was killed and four others were injured when a mini-truck collided with a divider on the Meerut-Karnal highway here, police said Tuesday. Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday evacuated 82 stranded vehicles after a fresh spell of heavy snowfall at Zoji La pass in the valley.An official release confirmed that rescue teams from Jammu and Kashmir Police assisted by Beacon personnel started the operations on Srinagar- Leh National Highway as several vehicles and passengers got stranded due to heavy snowfall.The rescue teams managed to safely evacuate all the stranded passengers and vehicles which included 70 Trucks, four buses and eight light motor vehicles.The passengers along with the vehicles were immediately moved to Sonamarg by the rescue teams.

The Coast Guard Monday said it has issued notice to the master of a cargo ship to clean up the oil spill off the coast here caused by a rupture in a hose of the vessel, failing which action will be taken as per law. Spillage of Fuel Furnace Oil occured early Sunday when 'MT Coral Stars,' an oil tanker vessel was offloading it through a 'flexible hose' in Kamarajar port, at Ennore near here. The notice, issued Sunday, tasked the ship master and the vessel's charterer -Atlantic Shipping Pvt Ltd- to clean up the spilled oil, undertake containment measures and recover the leaked oil that threatened the coastal area. "Take all other necessary action to keep the environment clean as it was prevailing before the incident....take action to prevent further spillage of oil into the sea," the notice said.
