Filmmaker Karan Johar says whenever he is launching a star kid, his thought is to make then go beyond their name and make their own identity. Karan is launching Sridevi's daughter Janhvi and actor Shahid Kapoor's half-brother, Ishaan, with "Dhadak", an adaptation of Marathi blockbuster "Sairat". Netflix ropes in Barbra Streisand for expanded edition of 'A Star is Born', six vintage specials

Hollywood veteran Barbra Streisand is joining hands with Netflix for six vintage music specials and an expanded edition of 1976's musical drama "A Star is Born". The 76-year-old star signed a licensing pact with the streaming giant for the deal, Variety reported. Vince Vaughn arrested for drunk driving

Actor Vince Vaughn was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and resisting arrest. The 48-year-old actor was arrested on Sunday morning in Manhattan Beach, CA -- about 30 minutes south of Los Angeles by Manhattan Beach Police Department, reported TMZ. Vaughn and his passenger were stopped at the checkpoint around 12:30 AM, and asked to step out of the vehicle. They initially refused to get out, the police said. Mom wanted me to do a film like 'Sairat': Janhvi

It was an emotional moment for Janhvi Kapoor to begin the promotions of her debut "Dhadak", the Hindi adaptation of the Marathi hit "Sairat", a film, she says her mother, veteran star Sridevi, wanted she should be a part of. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, "Dhadak" is the official adaptation of Nagraj Manjule's critically-acclaimed film and is produced by Karan Johar. 'The Goldbergs' actor Jackson Odell dead at 20
