Actor Ruth Wilson has said she "definitely" got less pay than "The Affair" counterpart Dominic West and it remained the same even after her 2014 Golden Globe win for the show. 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' sequel to release on August 24

"Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi", the sequel of the Diana Penty-starrer "Happy Bhag Jayegi" will release on August 24. Mudassar Aziz-directed the 2016 film which turned out to be a sleeper hit. The film also featured Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill. The second part will star Sonakshi Sinha along with Diana. "Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi to release on 24th August 2018! @ErosNow @cypplOfficial @sonakshisinha @dianapenty," makers said in a statement. "Happy Bhag Jayegi" was about Happy (Diana), a vibrant Indian girl, who elopes on the day of her wedding so that she can marry Guddu, the man she loves. However, she mistakenly arrives at the home of a Pakistani politician, causing chaos. Eros International and Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions are coming together for the sequel.

Cabinet approves Agreement between India and Israel on Film Co-production

Co-production of an Indian film with an international party means that Indian producer can access international funds and can collaborate on the script, talent and distribution at international level. Co-production of a film under this treaty will qualify it to be national production both in India and Israel. This will also enable a common pool of creative, artistic, technical, financial and marketing resources of the two countries. The co-produced films will also be eligible for their participation as domestic productions in film festivals of both the countries and any other incentives which are available for carrying out production and post-production work in any of the countries.

'Singham' franchise to be made into animation series

An animated version of Bollywood action-flick, 'Singham' is coming out soon.Franchise's director, Rohit Shetty, has been working on the special installment in association with Discovery Kids and Relaince Animation.Titled 'Little Singham', the animated series will revolve around the character of same name that will essay the role of youngest "super cop" of India.The animated trailer was released on February 18 and carried some interesting action sequences from the original portrayed in animation.The iconic 'Singham' pose and the popular dialogue "aata maajhi sataklee" also made it to the trailer.The action-comedy animated series will air in April 2018 on Discovery Kids Channel.

SC to hear tomorrow actress Priya Varrier's plea

The Supreme Court will hear tomorrow the plea of actress Priya Prakash Varrier, who recently became an internet sensation for her wink in a Malayam movie song, seeking stay of criminal proceedings against her over the viral video. The top court agreed to hear the matter tomorrow after the actress' lawyer Haris Beeran sought an urgent hearing of the plea. Man held for obscene act in front of TV actress in Mumbai

A 43-year-old driver of a luxury car was arrested for allegedly pleasuring himself in front of a TV actress near a school in suburban Vile Parle here, police said today. Jeevan Chaudhary, who works as a driver for a city businessman, was arrested on a complaint lodged by the actress after the incident yesterday, a police official said. The woman was speaking on phone in front of her residence which is located close to a school. Chaudhary parked his car just 100 feet away from her and started pleasuring himself, he said. When the actor's wife noticed the obscene act, she threw a bottle at him. But before she could catch him, Chaudhary sped off, the official said. However, the actor's wife managed to note down the last four digits of the car's registration number and this helped police track down the vehicle, he said.
