United States President Donald Trump took a swipe at media mega-celebrity Oprah Winfrey following her appearance in CBS' show, '60 Minutes', where she led a panel discussion with voters from Michigan state.Taking to Twitter, the US President said the questions posed by the "very insecure Oprah Winfrey" were biased and slanted."Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!" Trump tweeted.Winfrey questioned seven Michigan voters who voted for Trump and seven who voted against him.Trump's mocking remark about hoping for Winfrey to run for President comes in light of the fact that anti-Trump voices have continually called for her to run for President in 2022.Admiration and praises poured in for her especially after her powerful speech at the recent Golden Globes Awards.

Veteran Odia actor Aparajita Mohanty today joined the BJP in the presence of the party's senior leaders, including Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. She quit the Congress earlier this month. "I joined the BJP as I was influenced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ideals," Mohanty said. The veteran actor left for bypoll-bound Bijepur assembly constituency later in the day. Mohanty had unsuccessfully contested from Cuttack Lok Sabha seat as a Congress candidate in the 2014 general elections. Her entry into the BJP comes a week after another popular Odia actor, Mahasweta Ray, joined the saffron party. Two other eminent film actors, Anu Choudhury and Mihir Das, had joined the saffron brigade in January.

Actor Anne Hathaway is in negotiations to star in "The Last Thing He Wanted", a big-screen adaptation of Joan Didions 1996 political thriller. "Mudbound" director Dee Rees has been roped in to helm the project, reported Entertainment Weekly. If things get finalised, the Oscar-winning actor would play Elena McMahon, a hardscrabble journalist who gets embroiled in the dangerous world of arms dealing. The project is currently under pre-production. Hathaway will next be seen in "Oceans 8", alongside Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham-Carter, and Mindy Kaling.
