Actor Amy Schumer has tied the knot with her boyfriend Chris Fischer in a surprise wedding. The "Trainwreck" star shared the photos from her wedding to Fischer, who is a chef, on her official Instagram page. Jeffrey Tambor officially fired from 'Transparent'

Actor Jeffrey Tambor has been officially fired by Amazon Studios from its show "Transparent" amid allegations of sexual misconduct. Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Awards winning actor was accused of sexual misconduct by two women, former assistant Van Barnes and co-star Trace Lysette, last year following which the streaming giant launched an investigation into the allegations. Tambor had denied all the allegations. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Amazon Studio recently concluded its months-long internal investigation and decided to fire the 73-year-old actor. Bradley Whitford joins 'Handmaid's Tale' season two

"Get Out" star Bradley Whitford has joined the cast of dystopian drama "The Handmaid's Tale" in a major recurring role. The Hulu show is all set to return with its second season on April 25, with two episodes airing on the same day. The show, which is based on Margaret Atwood's 1985 classic, will have a 13-episode season. Arnold Schwarzenegger joins Michael Fassbender in 'Kung Fury'

Veteran actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has joined the cast of action-comedy "Kung Fury". The 70-year-old "Terminator" star joins Michael Fassbender in the film, which will be a sequel to the short film of the same name. The movie, to be written and directed by David Sandberg, will also star David Hasselhoff, who had featured in the original, reported Variety. The feature film will be set in 1985's Miami, which stays safe under the watchful eye of police officer Kung Fury through his Thundercops. After the death of a Thundercop leads to the disbandment of the group, a mysterious villain comes to the fore to help the Fuhrer in his quest to attain the ultimate weapon. Maha: Local group files complaint against 'Oru Adaar Love' actress, director

A local organisation has lodged a police complaint against Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier and film director Omar Lulu for allegedly hurting sentiments of the Muslim community through a song in their forthcoming movie "Oru Adaar Love". However, police have not registered an FIR in the matter yet. The complaint against the two was filed at Jinsi police station by a group of people under the aegis of Janjagran Samithi. "This is a deliberate effort to hurt the religious sentiments of Muslims. We demand that a case under IPC section 295 of the IPC should be registered against actress Priya Varrier, director Omar Lulu and producers of the film," Samithi president Mohsin Ahmed told PTI. IPC Section 295 pertains to injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class. Jinsi police station Inspector Faheem Hashmi has confirmed receipt of the complaint. The Madras High Court today directed the producers and the director of Tamil film "Nagesh Thiraiarangam" to clarify in all advertisements that it had nothing to do with legendary comedian C K Nagesh or his theatre by the name. Justice C V Karthikeyan issued the direction on a fresh application filed by the late actor's son Anand Babu seeking to restrain the film's makers Transindia Media and Entertainment Pvt Ltd and its director from exploiting his father's popularity to promote the movie.
