Prince Harry and Meghan Markle TV movie in works at Lifetime
"Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story," a film that chronicles the relationship between Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle, is in works at cable network Lifetime. The film will start with their first date, which was set up by a mutual friend, and continue through their engagement, reported Deadline. Production on the film is in early stages, and casting for the two main roles has yet to be decided. The TV movie will be directed by Menhaj Huda who has earlier worked on E! series "The Royals". There is no premiere date set yet but Lifetime aired predecessor "William & Kate: The Movie", about the romance between Prince Harry's older brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, 11 days before their Royal wedding.

Singer-songwriter Paloma Faith has slammed the Brit Awards for the lack of female representation as performing artistes on the awards night. As of now, Dua Lipa is the only female artiste to perform at the music awards ceremony, which is to be held on February 21. According to Contactmusic, Faith said, "They keep telling us women are having a great year, but it looks like all men performing at the BRITs, except for one woman." Lebanon bans Spielberg's 'The Post', citing his ties to Israel
Lebanon has banned the screening of Steven Spielberg's latest movie 'The Post', citing Spielberg's associations with Israel.According to the Independent, the authorities of Lebanon has blocked the film, starring Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, because it failed to pass an Economy Ministry committee and a Lebanese censorship board.The decision was made entirely on the basis of Spielberg's interactions with Israel.They decided to ban the film in accordance with laws obliging Lebanon to enforce the Arab League's boycott of Israel.The matter has now been transferred to Lebanon's Minister of Interior and Municipalities, who could still overturn the decision.This is not the first time such decision has been taken by Lebanon. Rapper Jay-Z's company S Carter Enterprises has filed documents to trademark the Jaybo character from his music video "The Story of O J". The 48-year-old rapper's company has made the move with the intention of putting the animated character on merchandise such as T-shirts and hats, as well as mugs and cocktail shakers, according to TMZ. The song, which is up for three Grammy Awards this year, talks about racism and stereotypes. Dolores O'Riordan, the lead singer of The Cranberries, has died. She was 46. The news was confirmed by the Irish musician's publicist, Lindsey Holmes that O'Riordan passed away suddenly. No cause of death has yet been announced, The Guardian reported. O'Riordan had been in London for a recording session, after she cancelled a tour to Europe and North America with a reunited Cranberries last year because of a back problem. The band released the acoustic album 'Something Else' in 2017. "Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time," the statement added. A Metropolitan police statement also confirmed the news, saying the singer's body was found at a hotel in Park Lane. "At this early stage the death is being treated as unexplained," the statement by the police read. Protesting against the upcoming release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's controversial film "Padmavat", Rajput Karni Sena members today staged a protest at the collectorate here. Members of the Rajasthan-based outfit handed a memorandum to the district magistrate demanding a ban on the film. "Karni Sena will not allow screening of film 'Padmavat' at any cinema hall or PVR in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. If the film is released and screened in the district, mass protests will be held. If any damage is caused during these protests, Sena will not be held responsible. We have demanded a ban on the release of the film in the memorandum," Karni Sena district president Thakur Mukesh Singh said.
