Actor-comedian James Corden has been announced as the host of 73rd Annual Tony Awards. American Theatre Wing, which presents the awards in collaboration with The Broadway League, made the announcement Tuesday. Lucy Liu developing anthology series on real-life women heroes

Actor-director Lucy Liu is working on an anthology series which will champion real-life female heroes. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Elementary" star will executive produce and direct the first episode of the series. Titled "Unsung Heroes", the show is in the works at ABC Studios International, which Liu will back via her Moonvision Entertainment. "Unsung Heroes" will profile women who were highly accomplished in their fields but did not receive acknowledgment for their achievements and how their stories have impacted history. The first episode will focus on Anna May Wong, a star of Hollywood's silent era. Liu's longtime manager Maryellen Mulcahy and Ruthanne Secunda are also attached as executive producers. Actors Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubatti and Ammy Virk have joined Ajay Devgn in the war film, "Bhuj: The Pride Of India", the makers announced Wednesday. Bhushan Kumar, who is serving as producer on the project, shared the news on Twitter. "Welcome the stellar cast of #BhujThePrideOfIndia @ajaydevgn @duttsanjay @parineetichopra @sonakshisinha @ranadaggubati & @ammyvirk," he wrote. To be written and directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya, the film will feature Devgn as Vijay Karnik, an IAF Wing Commander, who was in charge of the Bhuj airport during the 1971 war between India and Pakistan. Karnik, along with 50 Air Force and 60 defence security officers, played an instrumental role in keeping the airbase operational despite facing heavy bombing from Pakistan. "BlacKkKlansman" star John David Washington is set to star in Christopher Nolan's next directorial venture. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nolan will also produce along with his partner Emma Thomas. The project was described as an "event film", although any other specifics including title and plot are currently under wraps.
