Tigmanshu Dhulia may have impressed the audiences with his directing and acting chops, but the filmmaker says balancing both the jobs in the same film is akin to walking a tightrope. Shroff will be seen playing the role of RN Kao, the founding father of the Indian intelligence agency. The film features John Abraham in the lead. "I am glad I got the opportunity to bring the story of those people who served the country on screen. Playing this role is a feather in my cap. This trend should continue. We have so many unsung heroes. People today need to know about such stories. "I have also played defence personnel and cop in films. I used to have a uniform of policeman at home as I had two films at that time. I would just change the badges and wear the same uniform again," Shroff told PTI. Kate Winslet, Saoirse Ronan's film caught in row over fictitious lesbian story

Filmmaker Francis Lee has been accused of fabricating a lesbian storyline in his next directorial "Ammonite". The film, a biographical drama about paleontologist Mary Anning, features Oscar winner Kate Winslet and actor Saoirse Ronan in the lead. The story follows the life of noted British paleontologist Anning (Winslet) who begins a relationship with Frances Bell, her nursemaid (Ronan). A report in The Telegraph, however, questioned the film's storyline, with Anning's real-life descendants claiming that her sexuality was never confirmed. "Do the film-makers have to resort to using unconfirmed aspects to somebody's sexuality to make an already remarkable story sensational?" Barbara Anning said. "Imagine the shame and embarrassment this woman would be feeling right now to actually have her private sex life discussed and played out on screen. This adds nothing to her story," she added. Lorraine Anning, another relative of the paleontologist, believes the decision to create a gay ...
