Kristian Nairn, who played the gentle giant Hodor in the epic fantasy series "Game of Thrones", says he is looking forward to the proposed spin-offs of the HBO show. Now that "GOT" is headed towards its finale, Nairn believes not going in for the continuation of the world of Westeros would be an opportunity lost. "A lot of people are excited about it, all I know is rumours, unfortunately," he said of the spin-off (possibly) titled "The Long Night". "I just think it's a good thing. Obviously 'Game of Thrones' has created this complete alternative universe, and Westeros, just to lose that at the end of this year, or this season, would be crazy, after all these incredibly well-developed characters and places, they almost feel real. It would be crazy not to do something else with it," Nairn told Digital Spy. The actor's character was last seen in the sixth season of the show. "GOT" creator George RR Martin has confirmed that as of now scripts for five spin-offs, most probably prequels, ...

Marvel Studios' obsession with keeping things under wraps is not a secret but it was a "lightbulb" moment for Winston Duke when he got to know he auditioned for "Black Panther". The actor, who had a breakout role in Ryan Coogler's Marvel film as M'Baku, said he did not know he was reading lines from a "fake script" for a Marvel movie. "I didn't even know what I was doing, I didn't know what movie it was in the audition. They didn't tell you so I auditioned without knowing what movie I was auditioning for," Duke told Metro. "They were fake scripts! You just sign a non-disclosure agreement and then they send you sides (a part of a script provided to actors for use in an audition) that they just wrote, and you memorise it and work on it and flush it out and create character and go in and do your things," he added. The actor said he was in the dark till he met Coogler for a director's session. "I had no idea until I had a director session the third time around and saw it was Ryan Coogler,

British actor Keira Knightley says the art of filmmaking interests her but she is not planning to turn to direction anytime soon. The actor also said she likes to be involved in the script writing process. "I don't know, at the moment with a three year old, no. But maybe further down the line. I've worked on a lot of films, I've worked with a lot of wonderful directors and I'm really interested in how it's all put together and I really like working with scripts and storylines. I think there's certain areas that I'm confident I'd be okay in, and certain areas where I'm not as confident. "The problem is, as an actor what I'm meant to do is completely ignore the camera is there, so it's taken me so long to completely ignore the camera there that now if you're thinking about directing you need to be thinking 'why are you there and what lens are you on'," Knightley told Collider. The 33-year-old actor will next be seen in James Kent's new drama "The Aftermath".

Producer Peter Safran has revealed that the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie will be a "total reboot". Safran said the James Gunn-directed film has a lot to offer in comparison to the 2016 film, reported Contactmusic. "First of all, we don't call it 'Suicide Squad 2' because it's a total reboot, so it's 'The Suicide Squad' and I think people should be extremely excited about it. "It's everything you would hope from a James Gunn script and I think that says a lot and that promises a lot and I know that we will deliver a lot," Safran said. The original 'Suicide Squad' movie, which had a star-studded cast that included the likes of Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Cara Delevingne, performed well at the box office, but was widely panned by the critics.
Veteran producer Charles Roven said his much-awaited film "Wonder Woman 1984" is not a conventional sequel. Roven said the film, which stars Gal Gadot as the titular character, is a next iteration of "Wonder Woman", which released in 2017. "(Director Patty Jenkins) was just determined that this movie should be the next iteration of Wonder Woman but not a sequel. And she's definitely delivering on that. It's a completely different time frame and you'll get a sense of what Diana/Wonder Woman had been doing in the intervening years. But it's a completely different story that we're telling. "Even though it'll have a lot of the same emotional things, a lot of humour, a lot of brave action. Tugs at the heart strings as well," Roven told Vulture magazine. "Wonder Woman 1984", which also features Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig, is scheduled to release on June 5, 2020.

The actor also revealed that despite being successful, she at times, suffers from self-doubt. "Sometimes I'm the most awkward person in the world in my body and my skin.
