Pop star Jennifer Lopez has revealed she wants to direct content for television and films. The singer recently directed her first music video "Limitless", which features on her new rom-com "Second Act". When asked if she wants to direct more in television and film, Lopez told Variety, "Absolutely, absolutely". The singer said "it was a lot of fun" to direct the music video in which her daughter appears. "This is a song that Sia wrote for the movie. It's the anthem for 'Second Act'. I asked her watch the movie and tell me what you think if you're inspired, write something, and she wrote 'Limitless', which is: I thought I had to be somebody else, but look at me now, I'm limitless," Lopez told reporters at the New York City premiere of "Second Act". Logan Lerman in talks to star in Jordan Peele's 'The Hun'

Actor Logan Lerman is in negotiation to star in Jordan Peele's upcoming Nazi hunter drama at Amazon "The Hunt". If things materialize, Lerman will play the role of Jonah Heidelbaum in the drama series, reported Variety. The series follows the diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. They have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the US. Amazon has ordered a 10-episode first season. "The Hunt" is based on an original idea, drawing from real-life events, and created by David Weil, who will also write the series and serve as an executive producer. Nikki Toscano will executive produce and serve as showrunner. Peele will executive produce via his Monkeypaw Productions banner, along with Monkeypaw's Win Rosenfeld. Tom Lesinski and Jenna Santoianni from Sonar Entertainment will also executive produce, with Monkeypaw and Sonar producing.

Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' concert film to premiere on Netflix

Pop star Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' tour is coming to Netflix this New Year's Eve. The singer, who turned 29 on Thursday, made the announcement on Twitter and thanked her fans for the birthday wishes. She also shared a teaser for the forthcoming concert film which will be released on Netflix on 31 December. "Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! Today I finally get to show you something we've been working on for a while... The trailer for the Reputation stadium tour! The entire concert film will premiere on Netflix at at 12.01AM PT December 31," Swift wrote. The teaser features footage of her shows around the world, including plenty of images of the pop star on stage as well as zooms on her fans' excited faces. Swift's seven-month long tour kicked off in Arizona in May and saw her take to the stage around the world, including cities like London, Manchester and Dublin. Her tour came to an end in Tokyo in November.

Diego Luna and Scoot McNairy to star in second season of 'Narcos: Mexico'

Netflix announced Friday that Diego Luna and Scoot McNairy will play the lead roles in the upcoming second season of "Narcos: Mexico". The streaming giant renewed the show for a second season earlier this month. Production recently began on season two in Mexico City, Mexico with Eric Newman attached as showrunner and executive producer. Jose Padilha, Doug Miro, Carlo Bernard and Andres Baiz are also executive producing the series. The season one of "Narcos: Mexico", that started streaming from November 16, has moved the story to Mexico and charts the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Felix Gallardo (Luna) takes charge. Luna recently received a Critics' Choice Award nomination (Best Actor in a Drama Series) for his performance in season one; the series also got a WGA nomination in the Episodic Drama category.

Pahari paintings to go on display at prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art

A collection of ancient paintings by Pahari artists from North India depicting Hindu Gods will be on display at the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art here, one of the world's largest and finest art museums. The Metropolitan Museum of Art will present the exhibition focusing on early painting styles that emerged in the Pahari courts of North India during the 17th and 18th centuries. Featuring some 20 of the most refined paintings produced in South Asia during the period, 'Seeing the Divine: Pahari Painting of North India' will examine the innovative ways in which Pahari artists depicted the Hindu gods, the museum said in a press release.
