The friends and family of a 31-year-old man, who died after his two-wheeler allegedly rammed into Bollywood actor Zareen Khan's vehicle in Goa, has accused the actor's driver for taking a turn without showing indicator, as a result of which the accident allegedly took place."Their enjoyment made me suffer the loss of my brother," said Vishal, deceased's brother.Anjuna police registered an accidental case against actor's driver, Abbas Ali and arrested him. The West Bengal government has sanctioned Rs 21 crore for setting up a world-class laboratory in the city for preserving and digitising films that form a part of the state's cultural identity, an official said. A nine-storeyed laboratory will shortly come up in Tollygunge, where a major chunk of production houses and studios of the Bengali film industry are based, he said. "The government has massive digitizations plans and the laboratory will be equipped with all modern facilities for the purpose. An e-tender has already been floated for purchase of technical equipment," he explained. The initiative will go a long way in helping filmmakers in the future, the official said. "The administration has also arranged for workshops to train people in handling reels and other equipment," he added. Netflix is adding another true-crime series to its roster and the streaming giant will be focusing on serial killer Ted Bundy this time. Netflix will premiere "Conversations With a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes" on January 24. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the date is exactly 30 years after Bundy was executed for the 1978 murder of Kimberly Leach. The four-part series from Emmy winner Joe Berlinger, will feature previously unheard audio of interviews with Bundy while he was on death row in Florida. It will also detail Bundy's killings, he was convicted of murdering more than 30 women in the 1970s, and the media frenzy around his trials. The series is inspired by a book of the same name by journalists Stephen G Michaud and Hugh Aynesworth. Legendary singer Cher has announced that she is penning a book on her life story. The iconic singer-actor wrote on Twitter, "Book due out in first part of 2020. Bio Pic to follow." Cher had earlier published an essay collection "The First Time", in which she recounted various events from her life. It was released by Simon & Schuster in late 1998, shortly after the death of her husband and partner Sonny Bono. She was also behind the 1991 exercise book "Forever Fit" and the children's book "Reaching Your Goals", in which she relayed her own experiences of self-actualisation for inspiration.
