The 26th annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards will take place on January 26, 2020, a date thats two ahead of the Academy Awards.

Jackson Odell died of accidental drug overdose

"The Goldbergs" actor Jackson Odell died from an overdose in a sober living facility where he sought treatment, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. It was earlier reported that Odell, 20, was found unresponsive at his Tarzana, California, home on June 8. According to USA Today, the coroner's report ruled the actor's death an accident resulting from "acute heroin and cocaine toxicity". The toxicology report confirmed speculation that narcotics were involved. Odell "had a history of heroin addiction," Ed Winter, assistant chief of investigations at the coroner's office, told the publication. The musician-actor was best known for his role as Ari Caldwell on ABC's "The Goldbergs" from 2013 to 2015. He also starred briefly on "Modern Family". Odell died a month before turning 21.

Danny Strong, Sydney Sweeney to star in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'

American actors Danny Strong and Sydney Sweeney are all set to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino's 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'.According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie has also roped in Polish actor Rafal Zawierucha to play a young Roman Polanski.The movie is based on the life of Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), a former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), who are struggling to make it big in a Hollywood they don't recognize anymore.Set in 1969 Los Angeles, the flick also stars Margot Robbie, who will portray Sharon Tate. Clu Gulager, James Landry Hebert, and 'Better Things' star Mikey Madison have also been tapped as castmembers.The flick will hit the theaters on July 26, 2019.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Polish actor Rafal Zawierucha has been cast as Roman Polanski. Details about Strong and Sweeney's characters are sparse as of yet. The film, which features Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie in lead roles, also stars Maya Hawke, the daughter of "Kill Bill" and "Pulp Fiction" star Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, Austin Butler and Lorenza Izzo. The story is set in Los Angeles in 1969 and follows Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), the former star of a Western TV series, and his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth (Pitt), who are struggling to make it in Hollywood. Alec Baldwin has joined "Joker" with Joaquin Phoenix in the lead. The 60-year-old actor will play the role of Bruce Wayne/ Batman's father, Thomas Wayne in the origin story of one of DC's most iconic antagonists. According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources say the script portrays Thomas Wayne as a cheesy and tanned businessman who is more in the mould of a 1980s Donald Trump.
