Now, type easily with Google's floating GBoard

If you are a GBoard fan, you will now be able to type out easier than before with a new feature that Google has just added.The 'Floating' option has been added in the GBoard menu and as the name suggests, allows you to move the keyboard at a more convenient location on your smartphone screen while typing, Android Police reported.To enable, simply head to the GBoard menu and tap on the Floating option. You will be able to undock the keyboard from the bottom of the screen and move it around the screen or resize it. When you are not typing, it turns transparent to show you the background app.

US probe widens after 63 fetuses found at funeral home

Police in the US city of Detroit have found 63 fetuses at a funeral home during a widening investigation of alleged malpractice at such facilities, US media reported. "This is larger than we might know," The Detroit News quoted Police Chief James Craig as saying. "It's unbelievable." He spoke to reporters after officers on Friday raided Perry Funeral Home, where they found the remains of 36 fetuses in boxes and an additional 27 in freezers. Michigan state regulators suspended the home's license, a week after investigators found the remains of 10 fetuses in a false ceiling at another funeral home in the city. Student killed, one injured in bike mishap

A Class 12 student was killed and his friend seriously injured when their bike skidded off the road on the Vidyasagar Setu here, police said on Sunday. Laloo Sahani (18) died and his friend Amit Balmiki (19) riding pillion received injuries after the bike hit the divider on the bridge and veered off the track on Saturday, a police officer said. Balmiki is undergoing treatment at the S S K M Hospital. The two, without wearing helmets, were coming from the Princep Ghat side at high speeds, he said, adding, Sahani was seen performing some stunts before the accident took place. Police is examining CCTV footage to ascertain the exact cause of the mishap.

Remains of Catholic priest brought to Bangladesh

Bangladesh on Sunday repatriated the remains of a Catholic priest who died in Italy last year but asked to be buried in the Muslim-majority country where he spent most of his life. Father Marino Rigon will be interred at a village south of Mongla, a church official said, where the Italian missionary first settled in Bangladesh in the early 1950s. Rigon had been bestowed citizenship -- a rarity in Bangladesh -- and decorated with war honours for treated wounded freedom fighters during the 1971 independence war. He was also recognised for translating major works of Bengali literature into Italian. His remains arrived Sunday at the port of Mongla where a crowd turned out to pay their respects, a Catholic priest in Mongla, Sarapin Sarker, told AFP.
