The Bengaluru Police, just like other state authorities, has issued a warning against the viral 'In My Feelings' challenge - also known as the 'Kiki' challenge - and urged people not to do it.The challenge requires people to jump out of their cars and dance on the streets to singer Drake's hit 'In My Feelings' song. Remains of 55 US servicemen from Korean War returned

Kurdish refugee turned Cambridge University math professor Caucher Birkar was among four winners of the prestigious Fields prize, dubbed the Nobel for mathematics, but had his gold medal stolen minutes later. Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu said today that he has accepted the invitation extended by Imran Khan for attending his swearing-in ceremony as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Two lionesses from Indore Zoo to be sent to Japan

The Kamla Nehru Zoo here is planning to send two lionesses to Japan's Yokohama Zoological Garden under an exchange program. Uttam Yadav, in-charge of the zoo, said, "We will send two lionesses - Sundari (one year old) and Bijli (four years old) to Yokohama Zoological Garden. In exchange, we will get a pair each of the kangaroo, meerkat, lemur and the Colobus monkey." The two zoos have inked an agreement for the exchange program, and are now seeking clearances from their respective governments, he said.

RS takes up 80 pc of starred questions listed for day, Naidu lauds members

The Rajya Sabha today took up 12 of the 15 starred questions listed for the day during the Question Hour, with members earning praise from Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu. This is a second time since the Winter Session sitting on January 2 this year that 80 per cent or more questions listed for the day were taken up by the Upper House and oral answers were given by ministers during Question Hour. During the last Winter Session of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha took up all the 15 listed starred questions for oral replies on January 2, 2018. The total number of Starred Questions for oral answers listed for a day is 15. A member who asks the starred question is allowed to ask two supplementaries and three more members are allowed to ask one supplementary each. In the past, five to six questions could be covered each day and their answers given orally by ministers. For remainder of the questions, written replies are laid on the table. UK blind man's guide dog taken away after he punched it 10 times

A blind man in the UK had his guide dog taken away from him after he was caught punching it in the face "at least 10 times", according to a media report. The Guide Dogs For The Blind Association took action against the 59-year-old from Blackburn, Lancashire after receiving a complaint from an eyewitness that the owner shouted abuse and punched the black Labrador near a public park. The partially-sighted attacker told one of his dogs to fetch the tennis ball, which was being thrown by his wife, and he told the other dog to stay but instead they both went to fetch the ball. Man arrested for stealing cash, valuables from singer Mika Singh's house

A 27-year-old man was arrested here for allegedly stealing valuables and cash from singer Mika Singh's residence in Mumbai, police said today. During interrogation, the man, identified as Ankit Vasan, revealed that he had been working with the singer as an editor for 15 years and had been clandestinely stealing cash and valuables, they said. On July 29, after being noticed by the singer, the accused fled from the studio and hid himself in Mumbai for two days, police said. On July 31, he landed in Delhi and was arrested from Vikaspuri, they said. Police have recovered Rs 50,000, and Rs 5 lakh that had been deposited in three bank accounts, a hard disk containing music software and keys of the studio from the accused, Vijay Kumar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), said.

The Hyderabad traffic police has asked four-wheeler drivers to restrain from attempting 'Kiki challenge,' the latest viral trend that involves jumping out of a moving car and dancing alongside it, and warned of registration of cases against the violators. Police said they have noticed that many young drivers under the influence of "#kikichallenge" are performing dances on the roads by jumping out of moving vehicles. "Jumping out of a moving car and dancing alongside it in the middle of the road, obviously multiplies the risks involved in it. These kinds of acts endanger driver himself and others too.
