Jos Buttler, an English wicketkeeper, bats right-handed in the middle order. After initially playing for Somerset in English county cricket, he now represents Lancashire. He has also played Twenty20 franchise cricket in the Australian Big Bash League, the Indian Premier League and the Bangladesh Premier League.
 
ODI career
 
Jos Buttler made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Pakistan at Dubai International cricket stadium on February 21, 2012. 

 
 
IPL career
 
He made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for Mumbai Indians against Rising Pune Supergiant at Wankhede Stadium on Apr 09, 2016. He represented MI for two IPL seasons – 2016, 2017. In the IPL 2018 player auction, Rajasthan Royals bagged him for Rs 4.40 crore. He had an ordinary start to IPL 2018, but on being promoted to open the batting in the later part of the tournament, Buttler scaled new heights and became only the second batsman in the IPL history to achieve five fifties or more in a row. Overall, he has scored 1,386 runs in 45 matches at an average of 35.53 and a superb strike rate of 150.81, with seven fifties, his highest score is 95.
 
T20I career
 
He made T20 International (T20I) debut against India at Old Trafford in Manchester on August 31, 2011. He has scored a total of 1,260 runs in 66 matches at an average of 26.81 and a strike rate of 138.16, with seven fifties.
 
Test career
 
Buttler made his Test debut against India at The Rose Bowl in Southampton on July 27, 2014. In the 31 Test matches that he has played so far, he has scored 1,722 runs at an average of 35.88, with one hundred and 14 fifties.
