When it comes to young professionals working at Niti Aayog, women rule the roost as they make up around over three-fourth of the 46 such contractual employees, according to an official data. These young professionals are aged below 32 years and hired on contractual basis to assist the think tank in policy formulations. Out of the 46 young professionals at Niti Aayog, there were 33 women as on April 19, 2018, as per the data provided by the think tank to a RTI query filed by PTI. The think tank, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was constituted in January 2015, replacing the Planning Commission. Four Uttarakhand animal husbandry department employees were made to sweep floors and wash utensils at the Kumaon Commissioner's home, according to complaints by the workers' association. Kumaon's Chief Veterinary Officer P S Bhandari confirmed to PTI that the employees had been briefly assigned to Kumaon Commissioner Rajiv Rautela's official residence in Nainital. He said they were posted at the Nainital Raj Bhawan, the official residence of the state Governor, but had then been deputed at Rautela's home. The president of the class IV employees association of the animal husbandry department in Nainital alleged that the posting at Raj Bhawan itself was at the behest of the commissioner. Gopal Rawat, the association leader, added that sending them from there to the home of a government official was against the rules. The cashew industry in Kerala has lately been facing a crisis, as over 90 percent of the factories have shut down, leaving lakhs of workers unemployed.Kerala's Kollam district, which is known as the headquarter of cashew processing and exporting, housed more than 700 factories, which has now reduced to only 10. "I accept the consequences of this vote and will tender my resignation to the boards of Air France and Air France-KLM in coming days," said Janaillac after 55.44 per cent of Air France workers voted against accepting a pay rise of seven percent over four years. A city court today discharged AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in a 2010 case in which he was accused of threatening and obstructing labour department officers from rescuing child labourers from zari units in south Delhi, while it pulled up the police for its "lethargic" investigation. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal absolved Khan and another person of the offences in the case in which 15 child labourers were being rescued by the police and and NGO from Batla House, Jamia Nagar here. "I would like to say that the time taken by the police to investigate the case proved to be fatal to the case of the prosecution. Further, the investigation has been done in a belated, lethargic and lackadaisical manner over a prolonged period of time," the magistrate said. A large number of skill trainings in rubber have been organised in different parts of the country under an arrangement between Rubber Skill Development Council (RSDC) and National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (NBCFDC).With a view to bolster the drive to bring backward classes in the skilling ecosystem, RSDC signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with NBCFDC in mid-2017.The arrangement was entered into considering the immense potential for training youth belonging to marginalised sections, in employable skills for the rubber sector.NBCFDC under the aegis of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India, has been formed with an objective to promote economic and developmental activities for the benefit of Backward Classes living below the poverty line and to assist the poorer section of these classes in skill development and self-employment ventures.Besides fresh trainings under agreement with NBCFDC, RSDC has also held a series of Recognition .
