Hockey India name 48-member probables list for women's national camp

Hockey India Sunday named a 48-member core probables' list for the national camp of the Indian women's team to begin at the Sports Authority of India, Bengaluru campus tomorrow. The members will report to chief coach Sjoerd Marijne. The list includes recent Arjuna Awardee Savita, Rajani Etimarpu, Swati, Chanchal, Sonal Minj and Jaspreet Kaur as goalkeepers. Defenders Deep Grace Ekka, Sunita Lakra, Sushila Chanu Phukhrambam, Gurjit Kaur, Rashmita Minz, Suman Devi Thoudam, Deepika, Neelu Dadiya, Mahima Choudhary, Kanika Raj, Manmeet Kaur, SP Kruthika and Nisha have been called up for the national camp. Kadhe eyes first national title, starts as favourite at Fenesta Open

Eager to complete some unfinished business, Arjun Kadhe has returned to the Fenesta National tennis championship and will start as firm favourite for the men's singles title when the tournament begins at DLTA here from Monday. The 24-year-old has competed for the national title a number of times and reached the final in 2012 and 2013 but lost to Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Mohit Mayur Prakash, respectively.
