Virat Kohli Wednesday became the fastest to score 10,000 runs in One-day Internationals, rewriting, fittingly enough, the iconic Sachin Tendulkar's record and compounding the cricket community's conundrum to find the right superlatives for his phenomenal batting. 'King' Kohli comfortably bettered the record set by the man who was to Indian cricket for over two decades what the 29-year-old has been for the past few years. China's world number 57 Zheng Saisai heads the list of entries in the USD 125,000 second L and T Mumbai Open, a women's tennis tournament, commencing at the Cricket Cub of India on October 27. Spain defender Marcos Alonso has signed a new contract with Chelsea that will run until 2023, the Premier League club announced Wednesday. The Indian men's football team will square off against Jordan in a friendly match on November 17 in Amman, which will be the first such encounter between the two sides. "All India Football Federation confirms an international friendly for the Indian senior national team against Jordan.
