Mumbai, Mar 09 (ANI): 'Be with Beti' charity fashion show was organised in Mumbai on International Women's Day. Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty and newbie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor attended the event. Sharing her thoughts on Women's Day, Athiya said, "I am celebrating all the women who are strong, powerful who help this world become a better place. Equality is very important. Women need to feel that it's important to be independent." Akansha akso shared her views on the special day and its significance. She said, "It is also good time for women as people are speaking up. People are fighting for their rights. I think we are in a good time."

Cancer survivor Sonali Bendre shares her experience at 5th International Conference of CAHOCON

Mumbai, Apr 14 (ANI): Actress Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with cancer last year and since then; she has worked towards surviving her vicissitude. The actor was called as a guest at the 5th International Conference of CAHOCON in Mumbai on Saturday.While addressing the audience, the cancer survivor said, "You are taught that be tough. You can bear the pain; you have to bear a child. So, you internalise that and so you are always thinking that I can bear the pain. I kept telling myself that I am putting in an 18 hour a day, so obviously, I am fine, I am not dying."She accepted her ignorance towards what her body was facing, "The body was sending me signals; I wasn't looking at it as I should have."
