Ramdev registers FIR against Sitaram Yechury for his 'anti-Hindu' comment

Haridwar (Uttarakhand), May 04 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday registered an FIR against Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury for calling Hindus 'violent' and saying that 'Ramayana and Mahabharata are also filled with instances of violence and battles'. Ramdev, along with saints of Hindu community, complained to the SSP of Haridwar about Yechury's alleged 'anti-Hindu' comments, and said millions of Hindus all across the country should register FIRs against the CPI(M) leader.

Muzaffarpur shelter home case: Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav alleges direct involvement of state govt

Patna (Bihar), May 04 (ANI): While speaking to ANI on reports that 11 girls may have been murdered in Muzaffarpur shelter case, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said, "Along with Brijesh Thakur, many others are involved. I guarantee you that there are many ministers and close aides of Nitish Kumar ji who are involved in the case. Governor should dismiss the government." Meanwhile, talking on the same case RJD leader Rabri Devi said, "Government should answer who are the culprits and why are they protecting them in Muzaffarpur shelter home case. CBI is telling lies in front of court. BJP and JDU people are involved in this, Prime Minister has the responsibility to see why are culprits of Muzaffarpur Shelter home case are protected. CBI is under him."

PM Modi is seeking vote in the name of armed forces: CM Ashok Gehlot

Jaipur( Rajasthan) May 04, (ANI): Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot said PM Modi is seeking vote in the name of armed forces. Gehlot said, "PM Modi is nervous right now and he can go to any extend to win the election". While talking to ANI, he further added, "PM Modi is scared that Rajasthan people will vote to Congress due to which PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are focusing on Rajasthan and campaigning continuously". He said, "There is not any problem with his campaigning in the state, but the language he use in rallies, comments such as soldiers were playing video games and there was no surgical strike during UPA government as a Prime Minister of the Country is not good".

CM Kejriwal stirs war of words by calling Manoj Tiwari a 'dancer'

New Delhi, May 05 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took jibe on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Manoj Tiwari and called him a dancer. CM Kejriwal said, "Manoj Tiwari dances very well. Dilip Pandey doesn't know how to dance, he knows how to work. This time, vote for someone who works. Do not vote for a dancer". Responding to Arvind Kejriwal's comment, Manoj Tiwari said, "By abusing me he has directly insulted people of 'Purvanchal' and the same people will now show him what will be its consequences."

Priyanka Gandhi accuses BJP of bribing pradhan in UP's Amethi

Part-time jobs, social organisations help students from drought-hit regions in Pune

Pune (Maharashtra), May 04 (ANI): Drought in many parts of Maharashtra is adversely affecting students from these regions who are living in other cities of the state for higher education or to prepare for tests for government jobs. Student Helping Hand organisation provides two-time meal for free to students from drought-affected regions. President of Student Helping Hand organisation, Kuldeep Ambedkar said, "Around 2,000 students filed application seeking help. But due to financial constraints, we are able to provide food only to 600." Vinayak Renewal, MA student who works part-time at a clothing shop said, "I don't want my father to die due to debts. So I bear educational and renting expenses from my own earnings." Many students won't be going back to their homes during summer holidays as that would increase financial burden on their families. The Government of Maharashtra has declared 151 talukas as drought affected.

Cyclone Fani weakens, moves towards Bangladesh covering WB: NDRF

New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Deputy Inspector General (operations) of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Randeep Kumar Rana gave fresh update on the Cyclone Fani which has affected the coastal districts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. He said, "Cyclone Fani has weakened and is covering areas of West Bengal in the form of cyclone. It is further moving towards Bangladesh. The situation is under control and there is not much damaging effect. 9 teams of NDRF are present in West Bengal."

Traffic Police introduces sticker challan system in J and K's Kathua

Kathua (J and K), May 04 (ANI): The traffic police introduced sticker challan system in JandK's Kathua on Friday. This system was introduced following the disorder of parking in the city. To regularise the flow of traffic and also managing the parking slot such set up will help. A total number of 28, 135 vehicles were challaned, 371 vehicle were seized in last two months which includes school bus also. A fine of Rs 42, 51, 300 has been collected from them. Police has appealed the people to cooperate with them and park their vehicle within the parking line.
