Mathura (UP), Mar 25 (ANI): BJP MP Hema Malini on Monday filed her nominations ahead of the Lok Sabha elections for Mathura seat. Soon after filing her nominations, Malini said her main agenda is to work for the youth of the region. Malini said, "There are a lot of things I want to do for the youngsters, I want to have a sports complex for them, then some colleges have to be made for the girls. I couldn't do all this in my last tenure; I will definitely do it this time. Apart from this I want to build a food court in Mathura keeping cleanliness in mind."
Kodungallur (Kerala), Mar 25 (ANI): Last rites of Anzi Ali Bava, who was killed in heinous New Zealand mosque attack, were performed in Kerala's Kodungallur on Monday. Bava, the Kodungalloor native moved to New Zealand with her husband and she was pursuing her masters in agribusiness management at the Lincoln University. Anzi Ali Bava was killed in the shooting at the Al Noor Mosque, one of the two mosques in Christchurch that came under attack.

For generations, members of the family have been looking after a 500 year old Shiva temple constructed by their forefathers', right behind their house. The caretaker, Matibar Rehman says that Hindu and Muslim people alike come to the temple and offer prayers. Rehman goes on to maintain the temple well, as he says that it was his forefathers who asked the family members to take care and protect the temple and believed that the temple fulfils the wishes and desires of the people who offer prayer wholeheartedly. One of the most interesting facts of this temple is that cutting across religious lines, both Hindus and Muslims throng the temple to offer prayers and perform rituals.
New Delhi, Mar 25 (ANI): Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) released their election manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2019 today. Speaking to ANI on party's election manifesto and other political issues, General Secretary of NCP, DP Tripathi said, "Road to dialogues should never be closed. It's necessary to strengthen our stand in global circumstances. So, we said road to dialogue should stay open. I don't say dialogues will immediately resolve situation but it will lessen problems."

Bargarh (Odisha), Mar 25 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister and BJD Chief Naveen Patnaik on Monday filed his nomination for the Bijepur assembly constituency at the Padampur Sub Collector office in Bargarh for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Puducherry, Mar 25 (ANI): Ahead of the Lok Sabha election 2019, the police have seized as many as 490 liquor bottles in Puducherry on Monday. The liquor bottles were planned to be transported to Tamil Nadu. According to the police official, six bags were found in a suspicious manner at a bus stop, police have seized the liquor. The approximate cost of the seized liquor is about Rs. 40,000 to 50,000. Puducherry will go to polling on April 18 along with Tamil Nadu when the nation will see its second phase of elections. The counting will take place on May 23.
New Delhi, Mar 25 (ANI): Addressing a news conference, Congress president Rahul Gandhi announced that a minimum income guarantee scheme will be implemented in a phased manner as part of the "final assault on poverty". Rahul said, "Congress party guarantees that India's 20 % most poor families will get yearly Rs 72,000 in their bank accounts under minimum basic income guarantee scheme. 5 crore families and 25 crore people will directly benefit from this scheme. This will be a fiscally prudent scheme. All calculations have been done. There is no such scheme anywhere else in the world."

Mumbai, Mar 25 (ANI): Market analyst Sunil Shah on Monday reacted on Sensex declines 300 points. Blaming Asian markets for the fall, he said, "Primary reason is that Asian markets are down by almost 700 points." Talking about last week's recovery, Shah asserted that last week market went up very sharply. Linking last week's recovery with current drop he said, "This kind of corrections are bound to come, everything is okay, it is just a technical correction. Markets will remain range bound." On Monday, Sensex dropped 300 points, Nifty dropped below 11,400 amid global slowdown worries.
